- Guidelines for mailing in Tax Return Information Package:
- We will guarantee that you will receive your completed return by the filing deadline if ALL of your information package is received no later than March 1, 2012
- For packages received between March 2, 2012 and March 15, 2012, we will strive to return your completed tax package to you as promptly as possible. However, please be aware that we cannot guarantee that you will receive the completed tax return by the filing deadline. In the event that your return cannot be completed on time, our office will contact you to make arrangements to file an extension and complete the return shortly after the deadline - most likely by the end of May.
- All packages received after March 15, 2012 will automatically be put on extension. Our office will contact you with instructions as to how to proceed.
- Please complete the EXCEL FORMS as explained on the “Start Here” page. Once you have completed the Excel File, please email it to us TaxPackage@DRTaxguys.com Also, print one (1) copy of your forms to send with your information and one (1) copy for your records. Your package should include the following items (if applicable):
- Printed Online Forms - all pages even if blank.
- All W-2 Forms
- All 1099 forms
- Investment Information
- Mortgage Interest/Real Estate taxes Paid
- Any and all other pertinent tax documents received
- Please include a check for the base fee of $350 with your package. Any additional fees that may be applicable will be invoiced and included in your Tax Package when returned to you.
- Please be aware that all packages will be returned via Fedex 2 day mail delivery. A mailing fee of $25 will be added to your final invoice. You will be billed for any amount due above your initial deposit.
- Please be sure to include your contact information with your package if different from that listed on your online tax forms.
- Within a week of receipt of your package, our office will contact you to confirm receipt and to request any additional information regarding completing your return. At that time, we will arrange a phone appointment with Don if you so desire.
